Hello! I am Maricar Hernandez, a cultural exchange teacher from Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. This is my 3^rd year of teaching at Edmore Public School.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Mathematics from Saint Mary’s University, Philippines. I finished the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in Teaching Math at Nueva Vizcaya State University, Philippines. It is always exciting to teach and share experiences with students. I teach Math to middle schoolers, Algebra 1, and Geometry this year.

Last summer, I chose not to go home to the Philippines. I spent my vacation in California together with my husband. I also visited Las Vegas for a short time.

I am ready and excited to spend another year at Edmore Public School. I love teaching Math, sharing experiences, and touching students' lives. I am looking forward to a great year with everyone!
