Objectives:

Explain how Rome’s physical geography helped its civilization.
Explain the legend of Rome’s founding.
Describe the system of government in the Roman Republic.
Compare and contrast the powers that the plebeians and the patricians had during the Roman Republic.
Explain the importance of good rulers to the growth and expansion of the Roman Empire.
Explain how the Christian religion spread throughout the Roman Empire.
Explain why the eastern half of the Roman Empire survived after the fall of the western half.

 

Mon-Feb-8- Test on Unit 4 Chapter 9 Ancient Greece     Unit 4 Chapter 10   Read pages 276-279.  Vocabulary Preview page 67.
